The story follows Su He, granddaughter of a military general, who travels to Baiwu Mountain near Tiandu to investigate a disaster. She witnesses a powerful demon breaking its seal and injuring villagers, only to be rescued by a skilled alchemist, Mo Xunzhen. Together they uncover ancient conspiracies and mysterious forces at play in the heavenly capital, beginning a perilous journey to unveil the truth
